Muziris Contemporary is a contemporary art gallery showcasing South Asian art, soon to be launched in Fort Kochi, India . It also has a sales office in Mumbai and an artist residency located in Vagamon, a hill station on the Western Ghats in Idukki district of Kerala. The gallery aims to be a catalyst and platform for introducing and furthering contemporary art from Kerala to the larger south asian market and bring bespoke Indian and international art to Kochi, a southern Indian port city which has had a long history of trade, art and cultural exchanges with the rest of the world and is home to the Kochi-Muziris Biennale.
